CA2Q's Ride to the Northern Shore

June 21, 2008, after-meeting ride is focused around the Marin Headlands, up and over Mt. Tamalpais on the way to Stinson Beach.

The Fort Funston stop: we had seven bike & eleven members.

All seven bikes wound thru San Francisco up Hwy 1 to Marin headlands

  The weather was perfect

 

Most of the group walked out to the lighthouse that sits outside the
Goldengate Bridge.

On-ward we went north:
Many members split off & our bike count dropped
to four with six members having a great lunch in Sausalito.

 

 
Next we rode up & over Mt. Tam & down into the afternoon view of the Stinson Beach area.

All in all three bikes & four members made Stinson Beach. The rootbeer floats rounded out a perfect ride & the breeze from the beach was great!

Around 6:00 p.m. we all headed home via separate paths.
